Euro Trip - Part 5 - Germany

Our visit to Germany was super fast.  We arrived in Munich early one morning and then left the following afternoon to get to Berlin.  Then we had 1 afternoon, 1 night and the following day in Berlin before taking a night train to Paris.  So we pretty much were only there 3 days.  In Munich we did not do a lot except go to the markets and shop.  This is cause I was feeling sick so spent most of the day sleeping.  Everyone else went on a walking tour and Jimmy went out to a concentration camp but I pretty much just relaxed. We did however make it to the Haufbrahaus which was awesome!  I drank a whole stein which for me a relative non-drinker is quite the achievement.

In Berlin we did a walking tour with a guy that looked like Edge from WWE.  That was pretty cool! I learnt a lot about the history of the Nazis which I didn't know.  It was depressing but also really interesting.  We also saw the hotel where Michael Jackson dangled his baby off the balcony.

Then we took a night train to Paris where Corey and I stayed at a nice hotel and had a mini honey moon just in case we don't end up going overseas after our wedding.  That's up next!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I know what you mean about vintage pattern sizing, I think that is the main negative about buying vintage patterns - they don't come in multiple sizes! I usually have no trouble finding patterns, as my bust is a 32-34, but if it is a dress pattern I then have to modify the bottom half, as I am almost 2 sizes different down there :-)

By the way, I absolutely LOVE your photos! I feel like I am on holidays just looking at them... Sam xox
