Lolly Buffet Noodleboxes

For our wedding we have decided to have a lolly bar as our gift to our guests.  I purchased noodle boxes from Pulp Creative Paper back in August to use for the guests to fill at the lolly buffet.  This weekend I finally got around to doing a mock up of how they will be decorated.

Noodle Box Trial

The pink ribbon matches the colour of my shoes that I bought from Wittner and the yellow is close to what I am hoping to use for the girls dresses.  It might be a bit brighter.  Now the yellow striped paper is not exactly what we will be using it is just something I had in my scrap booking stash.  We will be using yellow patterned paper but maybe something that matches the girls dresses a bit better.

Noodle Box Close Up

The birds and love heart are the same as what will be on our wedding invitations.  We are going to go and see our invitation people once we get back from Europe and start getting them organised so I can show you more on them then.  The image used on the noodle boxes was made for me by the lovely Claudia over at Petite Marie.  She was very gracious in making these for me and no matter how many times I offered she has refused anything in return.  The pink of the birds will be a bit brighter when we print them for the final product but mums printer was low on ink when I printed these.

Noodle Box Bow

The ribbon will be glued down to the sides and bottom of the boxes then tied up in a bow on top.  Guests will then be able to undo the bow and open their boxes to fill them up then take them home with them.  I am pretty happy with how these have turned out.  Now we just need to collect more ribbon and some nice papers and we can get started making another 120.  I feel a production line coming on!

I love the grossgrain ribbon - it'll cost you a fortune though! It's a beautiful colour. I love bright colours in a wedding.

I love it all! The pink grosgrain is definitely my favourite part (aside from the lollies themselves!). Can't wait to see more details of your wedding!
